A former comparative literature instructor, Amy joined the SRJC student newspaper, The Oak Leaf, and has reported on campus science and cultural events, student activism, and more. She is a former College Journalism Fellow with CalMatters, where she reported on food insecurity among college students and guaranteed income pilot programs. She joins KneeDeep Times as a 2025-2026 Community Reporting Fellow.
